The Committee agreed the motion.
5 Legislative Consent Memorandum on the Online Safety Bill
The Committee considered the Legislative Consent Memorandum on the Online Safety Bill, the Legal Advice Note and the correspondence from the Chair of the Children, Young People and Education Committee, and agreed to consider its report at a future meeting.
6 Consideration of international agreements
The Committee considered the following international agreements:
· The Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (“Istanbul Convention”)
· The UK/France Agreement on Cooperation in Matters relating to Maritime and Port Security, and specifically, in relation to Passenger Vessels in the Channel (“Maritime Security Treaty”)
and agreed to consider its draft report on the agreements at a future meeting.
